The Romance Review

The Crafty Bastards host another erotic party filled with kinky fun. This time, Thanksgiving is a Spankgiving party of floggings, orgasms and spankings galore. Max, Sean, and Cali are the go to hosts for the private parties. They enjoy doing it and it helps them sell more of their deviant toys too, even if they are a bit hesitant about pushing products on their friends. Their products are quality material and they shouldn't worry so much.

This party does end up with a downer when Max and Sean's ex-lover is found murdered. Even if she was a horrible person who treated Max and Sean terribly with humiliation and emotional abuse, she did not deserve to be killed in the manner she was slayed. Unfortunately for Sean and Max, they are pulled in as persons of interest even if they have had nothing to do with her for years. This death goes through the kinky grapevine like a wildfire in California.

Ms. Dalton once again shows how this kinky family rallies the troops and brings everyone together to defend their own. I love this about the series - how people look out for each other and how they are there to help. Even better, when people need a helping hand, they aren't too proud to accept the support.

What I also like is how real life is intermingled with kinky fun. The realistic situations which come up in life do not stop the kinky play, but it does impact everyone. In this healthy group dynamic, they can roll with the punches and get back up. Sometimes it is harder than others, and it is okay. I like how people's feelings are validated and people are allowed to work out their differences or their snits on their own time. If they do take too long, a bit of tough love is applied. This sense of community is what pulls me back into the Suncoast Society series. This erotic tale is recommended to readers who love reading about the good times with the bad times.
